Born from a desire to share the gentle comfort of Katakigai cotton with more people, the Kokoro Odoru (Heart-Dancing) Skirt celebrates the tactile beauty of this traditional Japanese textile. Each skirt is crafted to showcase the fabric's distinctive character through thoughtful construction that honors both the material and the wearer.

• Made from Katakigai cotton, hand-woven in Ojiya, Japan
• Narrow-width fabric (approximately 39cm (15.4")) used vertically and horizontally for dynamic texture and visual interest
• Wide elastic waistband allows you to position your favorite pattern placement at the front—wear it however feels right to you
• Directional weaving creates different expressions depending on how you wear it
• One generously sized pocket; wear it front, back, or to either side
• Made-to-order production ensures quality and individuality

Long: Waist elastic 65cm (25.6") | Gathered waist section 6cm (2.4") + Skirt length approximately 90cm (35.4")

Care & Notes

Shrinkage: The fabric will shrink approximately 3cm (1.2") in length after washing. Both length options have been cut longer to account for this natural characteristic of the cotton.

Production & Delivery: Each skirt is made-to-order after purchase. Please allow approximately one month from order to arrival.
